Low-CarbonApproach

OUR DIGITAL COmmitment
What does our low-carbon approach involve?
At esf Chamonix, the mountains naturally inspire us to aim higher. Here, everything encourages us to focus on what matters: precision in every movement, the power of the landscape and respect for an exceptional natural environment.

The web now accounts for around 4% of global greenhouse gas emissions, which is why we have chosen to take a low-carbon approach to our online presence.

Our website is designed to be lighter, more streamlined and more efficient, helping to reduce its environmental footprint while providing you with a clear, fast and seamless browsing experience. It's our way of putting into practice what the mountains teach us every day: moving forward with purpose.

Dernier Planté de Bâton
At esf Chamonix, our connection with the mountains goes far beyond the winter season. When the slopes quieten down, our instructors take part in the Dernier Planté de Bâton (The Last Pole Planted), an end-of-season litter-picking initiative.

In a setting as iconic as Chamonix, this collective effort is particularly meaningful: protecting the landscape, respecting this exceptional natural environment and doing our part to keep the mountains clean. Alongside other local organisation and businesses, we are proud to make this a valuable, collective initiative that reflects the values we uphold on the mountain every day.
